My fellow Cougars, Let’s #ShowTheWorldY!
My name is Fritz-Carl Morlant and I’m from Haiti! I speak a few languages — you’ll have to come to BYUSA to ask me which ones they are. Let me just say that one hand might not be enough to count all of them. Business and Computer Science are my additional languages because I love to solve problems and innovate in the process — I’ve created a few businesses in Haiti, and now I’m working on some in the United States. I’ve been in management since a very young age. Growing up in Haiti, I always loved sitting by the fire with my relatives and hearing their stories of service, love, and sacrifice. Their stories of service always motivated me to help others. For that reason, when I first started my education at BYU, I wanted to serve students — and help other students do the same in the process. BYUSA Executive Vice President
Namaste! I'm Gabriel Abello, a rising junior pivoting to Business Strategy who is passionate about serving individuals and their needs and embracing the vibrant cultures across the world! Some interests of mine are that I love all things with the ocean, exploring new technologies, playing volleyball, cooking all kinds of cuisine, and dancing. From my diverse upbringing to serving in the India Bengaluru Mission to collegiately dancing for BYU’s Living Legends, I have learned that everyone has a story. You are unique, you have a voice, and you are loved! My goal as Executive VP is to capture the remarkable, authentic, and exceptional experiences that define our campus community, while also opening the doors for students to engage and participate in this great work.
